Accurate measurement is key to a perfect fit. Linked roller blinds follow the same approach as standard roller blinds, with some extra steps for individual blind widths.
Measure the total recess width across the top where the brackets will be installed
Mark the centre of the window, mullion, or door join with a grey pencil. This is where your intermediate bracket will be installed
From left to right, measure each individual blind width to the exact mm
Ensure the sum of your blind widths equals the total window width
Measure from the top of the inside of the recess to the bottom of the recess
Minimum 60mm depth for inside mount across the whole width of the reveal at the top. Make sure that the overlap of any doors will not affect this clearance.
Measure from the outside edge of the architrave to the outside edge of the architrave at the top
Mark the centre point of the doors or mullion. This is where your intermediate bracket will be installed
Work from left to right to calculate individual blind widths
Confirm your total equals the overall width
Measure from the top of the architrave to where you want the blind to finish.
