Inside Mount (Recess Fit)

Perfect for modern, minimal interiors

Placeholder Image

Ensure at least 60mm depth for the blind to fit neatly

Outside Mount (Face Fit)

The blind is mounted to the architrave or wall, covering the entire window.

Ideal for full light blockout and added privacy

Great for shallow recesses or when clearing obstructions

Creates the appearance of taller, wider windows

How to Measure

Step 1 – Measure the Width

Placeholder Image

Inside Mount: Measure the inside width at the top of the window recess, where the brackets will go

Placeholder Image

Outside Mount: Measure from the outside edge of the architrave to the outside edge of the architrave.

Placeholder Image

If your windows are square set add approx. 70mm to each side (140mm) in total for complete coverage.

Placeholder Image

The width measurement for a single roller blind is always the bracket-to-bracket measurement. Your fabric will always be reduced by 15mm on both sides.

Placeholder Image

The width measurement for a single roller blind with pelmet 95 is always the outside edge of the pelmet to the outside edge of the pelmet. Your fabric will always be reduced by 18mm on both sides.

Step 2 – Measure the Drop

Placeholder Image

Inside Mount: Measure inside the reveal from top to bottom

Placeholder Image

Outside Mount: Measure from the top of the architrave to where you want the blind to finish, or the top of where you intend to install the blind to where you would like the fabric to finish.

Step 3 – Choose Your Control Side

As you are facing the window decide whether you’d like your chain or motor on the left or right side.

Consider access, furniture placement, and ease of use. For motors, choose the side that’s easiest to reach for charging.

Step 4 – Check for Obstructions and Choose Your Roll Direction

Look for window handles, winders, or any obstructions that might interfere with how the blind rolls.

Placeholder Image

Inside Mount: We recommend front rolled to clear any obstructions and create a softer, more balanced look.

Placeholder Image

Outside Mount: We recommend back rolled to keep the fabric closer to the architrave, which helps with light control and privacy.

Step 5 – Label Your Windows

Start at your front door, turn left, and label windows as you work clockwise around your home.

Add room names such as Bedroom 1 or Kitchen to keep your order organised.

Mike’s Measuring Tips

Always use a steel tape or laser meter for better accuracy

Placeholder Image

Keep the tape straight and tight

Placeholder Image

Measure every window, even if they look the same

Placeholder Image

Record measurements in millimetres (mm)

Placeholder Image

Being 1mm short is okay, but never 1mm too long

Placeholder Image

Clearly label ‘Width’ and ‘Drop’ so they don’t get reversed

Placeholder Image

You're measuring for the bracket width, not fabric width.

Don’t take any deductions – we’ll do it for you

Design and Customise Your Roller Blinds

Control Type

Choose between chain control or motorised operation.

Add a Pelmet (single roller blinds only)

Finish your roller blind with a Pelmet. It hides the roll tube and reduces dust build-up.

Placeholder Image

Available in White, Black, and Anodised

Placeholder Image

Only compatible with outside-mounted, back rolled blinds

Placeholder Image

Wider linked blinds will use butt-joined pelmets (greater than 3600mm)

Extra-Wide Windows

If your window is over 3000mm wide, choose linked roller blinds.

Placeholder Image

Link two blinds side by side up to 6000mm total width

Placeholder Image

Both controls are position at either end for independent control.

Placeholder Image

Linking brackets minimise light gaps between blinds

Placeholder Image

Ideal for stacking doors and wide openings
